Can. 1393 §1. A cleric or religious who exercises a trade or business contrary to the prescripts of the canons is to be punished according to the gravity of the delict with the penalties mentioned in can. 1336 §§2-4.

Can. 1393 §2. In addition to the cases already envisioned by law, a cleric or religious who commits a delict involving finances, or who gravely violates the prescriptions listed in can. 285 §4, is to be punished with the penalties mentioned in can. 1336 §§2-4, without prejudice to the obligation to repair harm.
